Kensal Green Cemetery

Day off, sunshine, perfect day for a trip to my local cemetery. Kensal Green Cemetery is right on my doorstep and now it’s getting warmer I think I’ll be drawing there often. It’s not quite Highgate but it’s quiet and you can wonder around alone and do whatever you like. 20120226-205052.jpg20120226-205101.jpg20120226-205110.jpg20120226-205120.jpg20120226-205146.jpg20120226-205204.jpg

We’ve got a cemetery theme going on lately, it seems. I just did a photo series on the Krsko cemetery.

All dark and broody, I like.

Isabell, I knew we had a lot in common. :) I too, love to draw and paint in cemeteries. Quiet and peaceful and lovely places for a painter to be inspired. Heres a link to the latest: http://jaimehowardart.blogspot.com/p/see-latest-work.html
